Miley Ray Cyrus, born Destiny Hope Cyrus, was brought up by Tish Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, and her brothers and sisters in Thompson's Station in Tennessee. Cyrus began her acting career during that time. The first time she acted was alongside her father in Doc (2001). In addition, Cyrus played a role in Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus was the lead character on Hannah Montana (2007), a Disney TV series about a young girl living a double existence as a star. In this instance, her father was also in the show with the character. The show would go on to be a huge hit. Tours that sold out and agreements with merchandise companies were also signed. Cyrus rapidly became a cult figure for young people. Cyrus started to play other roles following the success she had as Hannah Montana (2006). This included roles as Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song 2010, 2010) and Lola (in LOL (2012)), alongside Demi Moor.
